When Euromaidan started in Kyiv on November 21, 2013, other regions of Ukraine joined it. Including the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. Crimean activists marched with Ukrainian, Crimean Tatar and European flags on the main squares of the cities of the peninsula: Yalta, Kerch, Simferopol, Yevpatoria, Bakhchisaray and Sevastopol
The movement “Euromaidan-Crimea” was born on the peninsula. The first action in support of the country’s European choice was organized in Crimea on November 24, 2013. The rallies took place regularly and were aimed at uniting Crimean people, telling about the events in Kyiv and why Ukraine’s European course is important. The largest and most powerful protests took place near the Verkhovna Rada in Simferopol.
On November 20, within the framework of the Forum of Media Patriots: Dichotomies of Ukrainian Retrospectives, Deputy Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Tamila Tasheva spoke at the panel discussion “Challenges of Crimea: 30 Years of Russian Propaganda”
During the discussion, the activities of the Mission, the approved deoccupation strategy, the work of the internal track of the Crimea platform were covered. In particular, Tamila Tasheva spoke about the implementation of humanitarian policy for the residents of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea as one of the important steps towards the deoccupation of the Crimean peninsula.

UN approves draft enhanced resolution on a human rights in the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol
This is an another result of the international activity of the Crimea platform. The draft enhanced resolution on human rights in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol calls on Russia to release illegally detained Ukrainian citizens and ensure the rights of Crimean Tatars, and for the first time includes mention of support for the Crimea platform.

Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Anton Korynevych and President of the East Europe Foundation Victor Liakh have signed the memorandum.
The memorandum is aimed at:
